On Monday, July 19th, Agape closed on a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house! We are now
focused on completing repairs on the house in time to host a team of urban missions interns. Our deadline to complete our “punch list” is September 3rd, so please pray for the resources we need to quickly become available. Volunteers are welcome to help with the project, and we especially need skilled labor for the plumbing, HVAC, and some carpentry. We will also need furnishings for the house including beds, dishes, linens, and just about anything else you can think of to make a house feel like a home. Already, we have received many donations of supplies and labor, which has helped keep our costs down. Agape is always looking for continued opportunities to provide additional housing for 3rd Ward residents, so stay tuned!
