Christmas Party
Thanks to the help of the Gateway House, Mission Year Interns, Baylor College of Medicine, special donors, and the Agape Staff, the children from Backyard Bible Club had a great Christmas experience. Agape hosted over 20 kids for Ginger Bread House decorating, gift opening, and lots of sweet treats. The Gateway Residents and Mission Year Intern helped prepare and serve food, Baylor College of Medicine staff donated gifts picked out especially for each child, donor helped provide the Ginger Bread Houses, and the staff led the group in singing Christmas Carols.
We can easily take Christmas for granted if we’re not too careful. For some children, this may have been the only Christmas gift and fmaily experience they had. We were all blessed by the time together that helped show these kids and this neighborhood the love of Christ!
