Wednesday, June 10, Agape Development Ministries initiated activities for residents of the Gateway House neighborhood ages 10-12. The programs are designed to provide safe, structured and supervised activities, consistent access to appropriate, nurturing adults, and a stable group of friends to children whose identities and characters are in formation. On Wednesday afternoon a group of boys went with Agape staff and volunteers to play football at a local park and a group of ladies tie dyed shirts at Sir John’s apartment complex. We desires to make these gatherings weekly on Wednesday afternoons through the summer and to continue them through the coming school year and beyond.
