communications efforts of Agape Development. This includes improving our current development activities as well as developing new initiatives.

Interim Housing Development Director

The interim Director of Housing Development will be responsible for laying the groundwork for our housing efforts. A successful tenure of the interim housing director would bring our housing initiative from the formative stage to an execution of constructing 10 houses, sold to our target demographic.

Frontline Ministry Associate

Think God might be calling you to ministry work?  Have a passion for inner city youth and adults? Interested in learning more about community development?  Agape has open positions for a one-year paid externship program.  Come live in an urban neighborhood with other ministry-minded young adults and learn more about urban community development and ministry from our experienced staff members. There are 3 positions available. All 3 have similar responsibilities but vary in specialization.

The position includes a salary and health insurance, plus all bills paid living experience.  The total compensation package is valued at $25,000 per year with opportunities to increase that by taking on fundraising responsibilities. Send a completed application and resume to

Summer Camp Interns

Agape Development is looking for energetic young adults who are looking to work with children and youth of Houston’s inner city and further our vision for our neighborhood. This is a great opportunity to learn from our senior staff who have been living and working in the community for years. This internship will have you working with kids or teens during the day and spending evenings learning more about inner-city ministry by participating in intentional community.
